Goal
The aim of this phys117 course is to build a small array with 9 crystals coupled to silicon photo multipliers. For this we need to design the circuit to read out the MPPCs and include a pre amplifier there. We also need to have a light tight containment that holds the crystals and couples them to the MPPCs. To measure the physical crosstalk the crystals have to be individually wrapped. The readout of the whole system is then done in Labview through two 14 bit 2 Ghz oversampling CAEN ADCs.
